Dead since lightning hit the house
I've had a 2017 Samsung 40" tv in my attic since lightning hit our house in 2018. Last year, I purchased a replacement power supply and main board for the tv from another vendor to no avail, and out of frustration, I gave up and put the tv back in the attic figuring that was that. On a whim, I decided to give it another try with another vendor...Electroparts Online. Glad I did. Parts were low priced, shipped quickly and well packaged with names of employees on them (maybe testers?) which gave me a sense they backed their product. Color distorted took appearance of a negative
Emailed Electro Parts with problem Erica responded promptly indicating problem was most likely Tcon module can I provide part number ? I provided the part number they had the proper module $27 and shipped it immediately had it in a couple of days. Installed the replacement module but unfortunately it didn’t correct the problem. I contacted Erica at Electro Parts she was very apologetic and said she would immediately send out a second module. Upon installing the second module my color was working perfectly and I am now a happy guy, thank you so much Electro Parts with your help fixed my Samsung tv for $27.
Panasonic LS1 suddenly had no picture on any input.
I was half watching my TV while working on my laptop, when I looked up and saw the picture was gone. I could still hear the audio, but none of the 3 Hdmi connections to my TIVO, computer, or Blu-ray player worked. Since the TV has performed flawlessly for 10 years and Panasonic no longer makes Tvs, I wasn't too confident about saving it from the recycling bin.
A search on YouTube gave me a clue about the T-con board being the most likely culprit; given the symptoms I was experiencing. An Internet search brought me to electropartsonline, and their offer of free restocking and return shipping was ideal given I had no way of truly knowing if the T-con board was the problem. The price was exceptionally good, and the thought of downgrading my Panasonic 1080p 3 HDMI set that fit perfectly in our entertainment center, for a new cheaply made set at 10 times the parts price, made it an easy choice.
Shipping was fast, and their customer support person, Erica, was very prompt and courteous. It was a great buying experience and the part fixed my problem.

Old Samsung Plasma Tv image went out
We ordered the part for our Samsung tv which came in within a week considering the talk of mail delivery back up due to Covid. Once we put the new(refurbished) part on the tv the image still did not work but everything else still did. So via email Erica from electropartsonline.com ask a list of question to see if there was anything we may have missed to ensure that we had gotten the right part which we did get the right part but it did not fix the problem. We also notice some capacitors bulging while investigating the problem. We decide to just buy a new TV than trying to replace those capacitors. I asked for a refund for the part which electropartsonline.com promptly refunded me my money back. Thanks for help and refunding my money promptly.
